The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

This Friday, August 6, Disney + is putting online the eighth and last episode of the Mysterious Benedict Circle. Original series created for the streaming platform, it follows the story of four orphans: Reynie, Kate, Sticky and Constance, gifted teenagers whose talents will interest a very mysterious character named Mr. Benedict. The latter will recruit them in order to carry out a capital mission: to save humanity from a global crisis! a Very nice family series with a very worked visual universe, which should delight fans of filmmaker Wes Anderson, The Mysterious Benedict Society is well worth a look. But as Season 1 wraps up, is The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2 planned?

Will the Mysterious Benedict Society have a season 2?

At this time, it is not yet clear whether Disney will be making a sequel to their series. The studios have not commented on the future of family fiction, but an answer should be given in the coming weeks … Let us recall for example that the series Les Petits Champions: Game Changers will indeed have a season 2 and that the information was revealed to the media two months after the broadcast of the last episode of season 1. In this case, if the pattern repeats itself, Disney could announce season 2 of the Mysterious Benedict Circle to us next October … or not. Fingers crossed!

A season 2 more than likely!

Why is it more than likely that The Mysterious Benedict Society will be renewed for a season 2? Quite simply because this fiction is the adaptation of a popular literary saga among children and pre-adolescents across the Atlantic. Imagined by the American author Trenton Lee Stewart, the saga The Mysterious Benedict Circle is divided into five novels; four volumes and a prequel book, which looks back on the youth of Mr. Benedict (played in the series by Tony Hale ). By purchasing the audiovisual adaptation rights, Disney has most certainly made an agreement to be able to create sequels at will. The literary saga being rich, the studios then have in their hands the possibility of doing much more. So unless the audiences for the program are really not to the American giant’s liking, there shouldn’t be a problem with a follow-up to the series.
