The pair, made up of the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro, offer the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with 8 and 12 GB RAM versions accompanied by 256 and 512 GB of storage.

The devices also share the same dual battery cell, totaling 4,700 mAh and supporting fast charging of a powerful 120W.

The iQOO 9 Pro also distinguishes itself by supporting 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging, features that are out of the standard model.

The differences become clearer in relation to the screens. The iQOO 9 relies on a curveless 6.78-inch OLED display, 19.8:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels).

The iQOO 9 Pro also offers an OLED screen of 6.78 inches, but now with curved sides, 20:9 aspect ratio and 2K+ resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels).

Another highlight of the more expensive model is the brightness of up to 1,500 nits, support for 10-bit color depth and higher density of 517 ppi. Both have an update rate of up to 120 Hz, but only the more expensive model has an LTPO panel, which allows a variable rate for lower energy consumption.

There are also clearer changes regarding cameras. The iQOO 9 adopts a 50MP Samsung GN1 main sensor, 13MP sensor for the ultrawide lens and 12MP sensor for the dedicated lens for depth of field.

The iQOO 9 Pro retains the 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor for the main lens, now with optical image stabilization, offers another 50MP sensor for the ultrawide lens — with 150 degree angle of view — and maintains depth camera, now with 16 MP.

Both devices have a 16 MP front camera.
